How to Pick the Right Course for a CEFR or CILS Certificate?

1 min read

Our courses in the program “From Zero to Italian” mostly follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) with one key difference: our Intermediate Levels are split up into 4 courses, rather than doing two courses, one each for B1 and B2.

This allows Manu to go into much greater depth and detail, ensuring that by the time you complete our Intermediate courses, you will have a far deeper understanding of Italian than the average student of Italian doing another course.

To give you a clearer picture of how our courses align with the CEFR (or CILS), below is the list of all of our courses inside the “From Zero to Italian” program.

Keep in mind that our program “From Zero to Italian” is still a work in progress, that is, it is currently being produced as we speak, with each course being launched progressively as it is produced.

Our first five courses are complete and available now, while we are currently working on Intermediate Italian Level 4.

By the end of our program, there will be a total of 8 courses, which if you complete, you will have achieved complete fluency in Italian (providing you put in the work)!
